This is a {Advertised Permanent / Temporary}, {Advertised Full Time / Part Time} vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

Salary: NJC Grade C: £24,790 - £25,584 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Working Pattern: This is a fixed term position working 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who can:

  • Be reliable, enthusiastic and a good communicator
  • Demonstrate they have the relevant skills, training and experience to make a positive difference
  • Work collaboratively with staff in the whole curriculum planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources
  • Has experience of working with children with special educational needs, including social, emotional and mental health needs
  • Can inspire and motivate children and enable them to be the best that they can be
  • Be expected to show a high degree of initiative and be able to react to given solutions with integrity and compassion

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, and be able to undertake work, care and support programmes as directed by the class teacher and SENDCo. In this role you will be required to work alongside a pupil with complex special educational needs in 1:1 or small group work situations.
